Smith Physical Therapy+ is excited to announce the next speaker for our Education Series: Dr. Parthiv Patel, Orthopedic Surgeon from Mercyhealth, who specializes in sports medicine and orthopedic injuries, including the shoulder. Dr. Patel will be sharing information regarding shoulder injuries in overhead throwing athletes and will talk about non-operative management, operative management and rehab. 

With baseball and softball season in full swing, and the warmer months bringing increased tennis and pickleball activity, we are opening this session to the public. For physical therapists and other licensed professionals in attendance, a certificate of attendance will be provided following the event. This session may qualify as an in-service hour toward licensure renewal, in accordance with each attendee’s respective practice act.
