DESCRIPTION:Help us Support Seniors Giving Thanksgiving! \n\nIn Home Services\, together with the residents at local retirement communities and senior centers\, will be coming together to brighten up Thanksgiving for families in need. We will be asking for donations of non-perishable food items which are traditionally a part of Thanksgiving Dinner such as boxed mashed potatoes\, boxed stuffing\, canned cranberry sauces\, canned vegetables\, etc. From there\, local boy scouts\, girl scouts\, and other volunteers will separate the donations into Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets. Each basket will be complete with everything a family would need to make a hearty Thanksgiving Dinner right down to a gift certificate for their turkey. The baskets will then be donated to local food banks\, meals on wheels\, and churches to be distributed to those in need.
