Friday, May 7 and Saturday May 8
(847) 639-1377
The Cary Lions Club members and community volunteers including local scout troops and high school students will be visible throughout the community this Friday, May 7 and Saturday May 8 for Tootsie Pop Days. Cary Lions will be giving away Tootsie Pops and accepting monetary contributions for the visually and hearing impaired. Money collected will send children to Camp Lions in Dixon this summer and receive ophthalmologist care at the Low Vision Clinics in Woodstock. Adults will benefit from Tootsie Pops donations through hearing tests provided in front of the Jewel in June. All services are provided free through the generosity of the community. Businesses can support these projects by helping underwrite the price of a case of Tootsie Pops. People can show their support by giving generously to the volunteers on Tootsie Pop Days. For more information, call the Cary Lions Club at (847) 639-1377.
