Description
The Cary Grove Neighborhood Life group is coordinating a clothing and toy drive for local and regional families this holiday season. Drop off items through December 12 at the Willow Creek Regional campus, 220 Exchange Street in Crystal Lake. New items needed: sweatpants, sweatshirts, hats, socks, mittens and toys ($20 limit). Gently-used items: outerwear for men, women & children and blankets. Gift cards will also be accepted through December 20 in $25 to $50 denominations and can be dropped off at the Algonquin Township office at 3702 Northwest Hwy (Route 14) in Crystal Lake. These gift cards will be given to the Cary Grove local PADS sites to supplement the purchase of food for the homeless. For more information, call Sue Dunn at (847) 814-1121.
