Description
Calling all grade schoolers! If you know a kiddo who enjoys running or is just looking for a fun summer adventure, Kids Run This Town, is a one-month program that gets kids moving, learning, and having a blast before school starts. The program runs throughout August and includes two guided running sessions with Coach Megan of Sloan Coaching, to master running tips and tricks.
Over the month, participants will complete 12 miles with a running buddy (mom, dad, sibling, friend or neighbor) building confidence and stamina. Then, at the Crystal Lake Half Marathon (September 6th), they’ll run their 13th mile, joining the half marathoners to cross the finish line and earn their very own half marathon medal!
