SPONSORED BY CAREER SERVICES | IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MCHENRY COUNTY WORKFORCE NETWORK

Time: 11 am – 1 pm
Location: MCC Gym (Bldg B) McHenry County College, 8900 US Hwy 14, Crystal Lake, IL 60012
Goal: Connect students, alumni, and community members with local employers, for internships, temporary, and part- and full-time employment opportunities.
Welcome to our Fall job fair using our Hire a Scot platform powered by Handshake! Please take time to read through and complete the entire registration process - including posting positions on Handshake - to make this a successful event for you and the job seekers.

Career Services----------------------------------------------
Each $60 paid registration will receive:
- 6-foot table and 2 chairs. Two-person table limit due to space constraints.
- Name in the participant brochure and social media publication through MCC.
- A table sign with the company name and characteristics (MCC Alum, Veteran owned, minority owned, etc.).
- Opportunity to participate in an on-campus recruiting event in the future.
Note:
- Electricity is generally NOT available in the gym. Plan to bring fully charged devices.
- Electricity is limited to only six tables as an optional add-on feature for $10 that must be paid for at the time of registration, while supplies last.
Registration Guidelines
- An active job or internship posting is required at registration. To increase your chances of being approved, the company must have an open job or internship posted on Handshake at the time of registration. We will not consider your company if an open job or internship opportunity is NOT currently posted.
- Limits on certain Career Pathways. To ensure representation from a wide variety of fields, the number of employers from some career pathways may be limited so other pathways can participate.
- Approval Process. Registration is not complete until you have been approved and paid for your booth. A request will be submitted through Handshake and reviewed by Career Services. Once Career Services approves the request, an invoice will be sent to the email address associated with your Handshake account. The invoice must be PAID (see next section) for you to complete your registration and be guaranteed a booth at the event.
Payment Guidelines
- Invoicing Procedure. Career Services will review your registration request and send an invoice prompting payment by credit/debit card (preferred) or check to the email address associated with your Handshake account. Please remit payment as soon as possible to secure your reservation.
