The McHenry County Patriot Run at Veteran Acres is an annual community event dedicated to honoring our nation’s veterans and celebrating the spirit of patriotism. All proceeds for the McHenry County Patriot Run are donated back to the veterans of McHenry County through The Veterans Path to Hope and the Blue Star Banner Program. The event is held in the scenic Veterans Acres Park and the run offers participants a unique opportunity to traverse a picturesque course that winds through lush woodlands, open fields, and well-maintained trails.
Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome to join this inspiring event, which features various race distances, including a 5K and a 10K, allowing everyone from seasoned athletes to casual joggers to participate.
