Description
The 2017 People in Need Forum will be held on Saturday, January 28, from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at McHenry County College and is free to all who attend. The Forum is a unique opportunity for everyone to be better informed of important community resources and learn more both professionally and personally. The Forum's Steering Committee has planned an information-filled morning with 16 workshops and more than 75 exhibitors addressing McHenry County needs and issues. Information will be presented on Homelessness, Veterans Services, Suicide Prevention, Drug Addiction, Therapy Animals, Cyber Safety and more. As an added benefit, participants of the forum will receive a free Resource Directory in paper and on flash drive plus informational handouts too many to mention.
