Description
The Summer 2013 Newsletter (Books & Bytes) from the Cary Area Public Library should be in the mail the week of May 19. It contains programming information for June, July & August. Most programming is free, and registration will begin May 23 at 9 a.m. Register in person, online www.caryarealibrary or by phone (847) 639-4210. A few programs will require the payment of a fee: these programs must be registered in person so that the fee is paid at registration (registration is not complete until the payment is made at the library.)
Summer Reading (registration and reading) does not begin until June 1st. The reading program is for Cary Library cardholders of all ages, and runs through July 31 at closing. (Registration runs June 1-17.) Adults, Teens, and Kids are encouraged to register and read for fun and prizes. The first day to collect prizes (bring in you reading log with required reading indicated) is June 8.
Include the library in your summer plans. It's a fun and inexpensive way to have fun...and learn something new, too!
