We are collaborating with the Barrington Mason’s lodge who offer a FREE service to parents called ILCHIP (ILLINOIS CHILD IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM). This program is designed in case the unthinkable happens and a child goes missing. The Masons equip parents with a kit to bring to law enforcement containing a USB drive of photos, other identifying information, fingerprints, saliva DNA samples, and voice recordings in order to provide as much info as possible to find the missing child. In the heat of the moment, as parents, we often are not thinking rationally enough to gather this amount of information. ILCHIP fills this need. The masons will be in attendance to provide more information about this free service and how to participate.
