Crossing the Spectrum Opens Cary Location Dedicated to Supporting Children with Autism

[Cary, IL, 10/20/25] The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting on October 20, 2025, to celebrate the opening of Crossing the Spectrum, located at 1005 Alexander Ct., Unit D in Cary. Founded by Susi Santoso, BCBA, Crossing the Spectrum provides compassionate and comprehensive therapy services for children impacted by autism.

Crossing the Spectrum represents Santoso’s passion project—one inspired by personal experience and driven by purpose. With a background in finance, Santoso shifted her career path after a family member was diagnosed with autism, leading her to pursue a new direction in the field of behavioral therapy. Over the past 12 years, she has dedicated her career to supporting children and families impacted by autism. That commitment now fuels her work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and founder of a center devoted to helping families navigate their own paths with confidence, compassion, and care.

Santoso has curated a dedicated team, many of whom share similar personal stories, who are eager to serve families throughout the region. The Cary facility is thoughtfully designed to provide a welcoming, supportive, and sensory-friendly environment where children can thrive.

“Crossing the Spectrum was born from both personal experience and professional passion,” said Susi Santoso, founder of Crossing the Spectrum. “As both a parent and a practitioner, I wanted to create a place where families feel understood and supported—where every child is seen for their potential and celebrated for who they are. Our new space in Cary reflects our commitment to meeting families where they are and walking with them every step of the way.”

Crossing the Spectrum offers a full range of therapeutic services, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Parent and Caregiver Training, Independent Living and Vocational Skills Development, Social Skills Groups, and Early Intervention Programs.

In addition to the new Cary location, Santoso is simultaneously opening a second Crossing the Spectrum center in Palatine, located at 632 North 1st Bank Dr., Ste. 150 . For more information or to schedule a consultation, visit www.crossingthespectrum.com.
