Mercyhealth welcomes board certified internal medicine doctor

WOODSTOCK, Illinois—Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Zebi Fatima, MD, board certified
internal medicine doctor, to the staff at Mercyhealth Woodstock, 2000 Lake Ave., Woodstock.
Dr. Fatima likes to get to know her patients. “My philosophy of care centers on building trust, listening
attentively, and treating each patient as a whole person, not just a diagnosis,” she said. “I focus on
preventive medicine, patient education, and evidence-based care, empowering individuals to make
informed health decisions. With a strong background in women’s health, I address unique needs at
every stage of life, ensuring comfort, respect and personalized attention. I strive to create a welcoming
environment where patients feel heard, valued and supported. By combining medical expertise with
empathy, I aim to partner with my patients to achieve lasting wellness and improve their quality of
life.”
After earning her medical degree at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College & Hospital, India, Dr. Fatima
served an internal medicine residency at Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield, WI. She is certified by the
American Board of Internal Medicine.
