Mercyhealth welcomes Allergist/Immunologist
MCHENRY, Illinois—Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Minh Nguyen, DO, allergist/immunologist to Mercyhealth McHenry, 3922 Mercy Dr.
Dr. Nguyen is proud to call Illinois his home. After moving to Chicago from Vietnam at age 16, he spent the next decade in the Chicagoland area pursuing his undergraduate, graduate, and medical education. Although his medical training took him to Michigan and Florida, he is excited to be back
home, providing care in Illinois. Dr. Nguyen’s clinical practice is shaped by a powerful message from the dean of his medical school on his first day of orientation: “Patients don’t care how much you know; they only know how much you care.“ While medicine is a vast and ever-evolving field, Dr. Nguyen believes it is his duty to stay informed about new innovations and breakthroughs. Above all, he prioritizes making sure that his patients feel heard. His core principles emphasize open communication and partnering with patients as a team.
As a dual board-certified internist and pediatrician, Dr. Nguyen is passionate about caring for patients of all ages, a dedication he extends into his subspecialty practice in allergy and immunology. His special interests include:
