MERCYHEALTH FOUNDATION’S GOLF PLAY DAY
RAISES SIGNIFICANT FUNDS FOR EMS TRAINING

BELOIT, Wisconsin—Mercyhealth Foundation’s annual Golf Play Day raised nearly $40,000, thanks to the
support of golfers, volunteers and corporate sponsors. The charity outing was held Friday, May 16, at
the Beloit Club and attracted 152 Mercyhealth Foundation supporters.
The proceeds of this event will be used for Mercyhealth Prehospital and Emergency Services Center’s
training and education programs for first responders throughout the region.
“Our annual golf event is more than just a day on the course—it’s an opportunity to support the
lifesaving work of our EMS professionals and invest in the future of emergency medical care,” said
Jennifer Johns, Director of Community Development and Mercyhealth Foundation.
“Thanks to our generous sponsors and participants, we’re able to provide essential funding for EMS
program and scholarships for aspiring EMS students. Together, we’re strengthening emergency care in
our communities and making a lasting impact.”
