MERCYHEALTH DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION’S GOLF PLAY DAY RAISES SIGNIFICANT FUNDS FOR EMS TRAINING

JANESVILLE, Wisconsin and ROCKFORD, Illinois
The Mercyhealth Development Foundation’s annual Golf Play Day raised more than $20,000, thanks to the support of golfers, volunteers and corporate sponsors. The charity outing was held Friday, May 17, at the Beloit Club and attracted 144 Mercyhealth
Development Foundation supporters.

This year’s event raised more than $20,000 for the Mercyhealth Prehospital and Emergency Services Center training and education programs for first responders throughout the region.

“Thanks to our generous supporters, we’re able to offer state-of-the-art training for local fire fighters, paramedics and emergency medical technicians,” said Jennifer Johns, Director of Community Development and Mercyhealth Development Foundation.
