Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate New Ownership at The Maple Tree Tap

 
CARY, [August 31, 2023] – The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Maple Tree Tap, an iconic establishment in Cary, which has recently come under new ownership. The event celebrated the new owners, Dillon and Michelle Streit, along with their partners Brian and Jodie Atkins.
 
The Maple Tree Tap has been a cherished part of the Cary community for many years.  When the original owner expressed their intention to retire, these two couples, who have been immersed in the Cary community for many years, saw an irresistible opportunity to carry forward the legacy of the establishment.
 
"We are thrilled to welcome Dillon and Michelle Streit and Brian and Jodie Atkins as the new stewards of The Maple Tree Tap," said Lynn Caccavallo, President of the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce. "Their dedication to preserving the history of the location, while adding their unique touch is commendable. We are confident that The Maple Tree Tap will be a cornerstone of our community."
 
In addition to their new venture at The Maple Tree Tap, the Streits and the Atkins have already made a significant impact in the local business community. The Streits are proud owners of several thriving businesses in the area, including All Marine Services, All Marine's Retro Rentals, Barrington Boat Club, and a new venture, Barrington Boat Company opening soon. Brian Atkins is the founder of Significant Wealth Partners Inc., a wealth enhancement firm that helps clients achieve their financial goals. Their proven track record of successful businesses underscores their dedication to the community. 
 
The Streits and Atkins, expressed their gratitude to the community and their excitement about the journey ahead. "We feel privileged to take on this responsibility," said Dillon Streit. "Our goal is to maintain the warm and welcoming atmosphere that patrons have come to love, while also introducing some exciting new additions to enhance the overall experience at The Maple Tree Tap."
