Fox River Grove Spring Clean Up – May 16

Mark your calendar!  Fox River Grove’s Spring Clean-Up is scheduled for May 16.  Items for pickup include: furniture weighing less than 50 lbs., plumbing fixtures, small auto parts drained of oil and gasoline, bundled construction debris of not more than one cubic yard and weighing less than 50 lbs., lawn and garden items, but not landscape waste. Items NOT allowed include: automobile batteries and tires, auto parts weighing more than 50 lbs., any liquid or hazardous waste materials, such as gasoline, paints or motor oil, bricks, stones, concrete or roofing debris, unbundled construction debris over 50 lbs., appliances, air conditioners, water heaters, computers or computer parts, plasma TV’s.  For more information, call Waste Management at (800) 796-9696.
