The Chamber’s Annual Garden Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 17 from 2:30 to
The Garden Walk is the Chamber’s most successful fundraising event for the Scholarship Fund. Last year the Chamber awarded two $1,000 business scholarships to area high school students, an investment in our area’s youth and the future of our business community. The scholarships are intended to encourage local students to pursue college interests that might impact area business.
The Garden Walk Committee consists of Dorothy Miller of Lake Julian Trout Farm, Neelie Kruse of Cary Travel Express, Wendy Franz of R & W Construction Custom Home Remodeling, Patsy Frits of Realty Executives on the Move, and Kathie McLaughlin of American National Insurance.
