Description
According to the American Heart Organization, people with diabetes are two to four times more likely to develop cardiovascular disease due to a variety of risk factors, including blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoling, obesity, lack of physical activity and poorly controlled blood sugar. Michael Fortsas, M.D., board ceritified cardiologist with Northwest Cardiology Associates will share the impact of these risk factors and what you can do to reduce your risk of developing these diseases. A light meal will be served.
