Marketing Associate (part-time)

We are seeking a creative and motivated part-time Marketing Associate to help with social media, graphic design, and general marketing and promotion of the Library. This position plays an important role in ensuring our Library is seen and valued by the community. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Help create inclusive Library communications and marketing activities that support the Library’s mission, goals, and strategic plans.
- Lead and create content for the Library’s social media accounts.
- Help maintain the Library brand through signage, promotions, and informational materials, primarily using the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Help produce and edit video and audio content for programming and publicity purposes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent in experience required.
- Two (2) years of experience in a library or non-profit setting preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred.
Hours: This year-round, part-time position is available at 12 hours per week for the following hours: Monday-Wednesday 9 am-1 pm. Some schedule flexibility may be possible.
Pay: $20.94-$24 per hour to start, depending on qualifications
