Like many successful businesses, The story of “Modern Canvas Company” begins in a small home garage...
Our names are Vanessa and Matt and this is our story behind Modern Canvas Company!
In fall of 2021, we got married, and shortly after, found out we were pregnant with our first baby, who we welcomed into the world summer of 2022! A few months into our maternity leave, we came up with an idea to create a canvas company, allowing us to potentially work from home and spend more time with baby. Since we bought our home together, any time we got professional pictures done, we would purchase framed canvases to hang in our home.
We were never fully satisfied with the quality of what we were ordering, and were determined to find the perfect materials to create what we thought would be the best quality canvas. Between the both of us, we have always had a passion for business and anything that allowed our creative side to shine.
